I'm also recommending that you check out TeacherTube at http://www.teachertube.com. I found some good "how to" presentation on using Blogger and saw some amazing examples of how blogs are being used in the K12 environment.

The Discovery Channel has a great show that only ran for 5 episodes called "It's all geek to me." They did episodes on Laptops, backing up data, Digital cameras, cell phones, and ipods. In the ipods episode, they did mention a shareware program for transferring files (including videos) from ipods to your computer. It is called senuti (Itunes spelled backwards).
